Direct Experience Forms Neural Connections
The human neural intra-network consists of about 100 billion neurons. These neurons transmit signals via neural connections. What creates these connections? Direct experience. What is the first thing that science does? Discount individual experience.
Direct experience forms neural connections in the human brain and engages neural circuits which dictate various emotional states, both known and yet to be discovered. Depending on the neural circuits engaged and neurons stimulated, certain connections become stronger and more efficient, while others may become weaker. This phenomenon is called neuroplasticity. Rational strength and emotional resilience work on that same neural connectivity pattern. It may not be obvious, but these are emotional skills that can be developed by actively focusing your mind’s attention. Repetitive activity strengthens neural connections; inactivity weakens it.
In every moment, regardless of your physical or mental actions, everything you are doing at any time is physically modifying your brain to become more adept at the task at hand being repeated; hence the concept of ‘muscle’ memory. Repetition retains memory, didn’t you know? :)
The Fundamental Functionality Of The Brain
Since self-awareness is self-evident and has been to countless sages and shamans of the past, it greatly enriches our lives and our experiences. Our neurology affects and enriches our psychology which in turn affects our physiology. Our neurology, psychology, and physiology are interconnected on very deep levels as the brain processes layers of inputs we’re never aware of.
Specific neurotransmitters, like Norepinephrine, trigger a defensive mechanism when we feel our thoughts have to be protected from cognitive alien contamination of other ideas. When we are confronted with genuine differences of opinion on given arbitrary matters of daily cognitive tasks, the neurochemistry of the brain is the same as when the brain tries to ensure our survival in the jungle in dangerous situations. This is an evolutionary survival response mechanism hardwired in the monkey.
Our Neurology Dictates Our Behavior
While in the defensive state, the more primitive reptilian parts of the brain interfere with rational thought processes causing our limbic system to numb most of our working emotional and spatial memory. Physically, this causes narrow-mindedness, shortsightedness, and the defense of our identity.
To have an identity is to be imprisoned; your intellect is the prisoner of your own doing and only ever seeks to defend that identity the monkey assumed. Never identify and never assume an identity. For you are nothing. You have always been nothing and you will always be nothing. But this nothing is everything. That pure Universal consciousness is the nothingness in which the everything of the Universe dwells.
This neural strategic play is open for observation in the domain of politics and chess, gamblers and poker players or simply when the brain is being stubborn in the face of a perfectly sound and rational idea which you may be open to in another altered state of mind. Keep in mind that an altered state is nothing more than a state different than the one you were in a moment ago.
And no matter how profoundly valuable an idea could be to the mind, the brain has a tremendous amount of trouble harnessing its innate power when in such a state. On a neurological level, the brain acts as if it’s being physically threatened in the jungle and must fight or flee for survival, even if this threat is perceived from benign opinions or factual statements; things we may otherwise find helpful and agreeable if the mind were not encumbered by its own workings.

How Are Psychedelics Deeply Linked With The Human Condition?
When self-expression of the utmost authentic nature; that which is true to man and that which man is true for lends itself to social acceptance and appreciation of thoughts, ideas, actions, or patterns of behavior, these defensive neurochemicals drastically decrease in the brain. What is found to be soaring in the skies instead is dopamine whose neurotransmission activates the internal reward circuits of the neural circuitry itself, increasing the feeling of self-empowerment self-esteem.
Self-esteem and self-belief are closely linked to serotonin and the 5HT receptors. If the lack of serotonin reaches severe proportionality, it leads to self-destructive tendencies, depression, and ultimately death. It fosters a defeatist mindset. It hinders integrity, authenticity, inner strength and the conviction of the monkey’s own ideas. These ideas are born of pure genius as they are true for the organism.
Your psychology and beliefs or lack thereof, have an undeniable effect on your physiology, the profundity of which cannot be ignored at any level. This is why the sages of the past have always said that in order to know thyself, you must first listen to the body, for the body is your only true God. This is why placebos are effective. Cultivation of belief transcends any belief system, and any belief system is arbitrary. That is why it is not true to the monkey. That is why it is not true to the authenticity of the monkey. That is why every ideology is false and not worth giving your loyalty to. It is not worth forming an identity around. Religion, politics, philosophy, ideology… all of these things exists outside of your neural system and are viral alien infections polluting your mind.
The most dangerous thing in the Universe is the power of idea; the power of thought. Countless sages and shamans have realized that the only thing that exists at the heart of the mandala is the singularity; that which is pure consciousness itself. The monkey must not allow itself to become infected by the ideas of others.
Depression Kills
Deceased suicidal and otherwise depressed patients have more 5-HT2A receptors than normal patients. These findings suggest that postsynaptic 5-HT2A overdensity is involved in the pathogenesis of depressive states linked with low self-esteem and a profound lack of connection with the self. I disagree. I suggest that the lack of psychedelics for such people poses the problem. The psychedelic experience is what they need. In daily micro doses if need be. The shamans knew and know how to fix the mind. They have thousands of years of wisdom handed down to them. Science coupled with the knowledge of the ancestors is the only way to move forward in our modalities of discovering the Universe within ourselves which holds the power to completely transform minds. It is unwise to ignore the wisdom of our ancestors. Science can only ever create models of reality. The only way to feel and connect with reality is to experience it. And experience is forever locked within the present moment, which is your only true reality.
Antidepressants Are The Poison You Should Avoid
Psychedelics are the balm for our souls. Psychiatry is the tool of the dominant apes. Big Pharma is not your friend. They want to feed you drugs that make you dull, numb, and enfeebled in the mind. They want to hinder critical thought and reason. They want to control you through drugs. Free your mind. Break the structures. Dissolve the boundaries and learn to think for yourself.
Taking a pro-psychedelic position automatically means you assume an anti-drug position. Why? Because psychedelics are the antithesis to drugs. Why do we dislike drugs? Has anyone examined this? Because drugs are the control. They are a means to control escapism. Drugs cause an unexamined, uncontrollable, dependent, and repetitive self-destructive pattern of behavior which is destructive to the very core of the monkey. Psychedelics break your own structures of behavior, of the mind, of societal, social, and cultural conditioning. Psychedelics force you to improve your life.
Life Is Hardwired For Self-Interest
Every creature on the planet is hardwired for self-interest. This is an intrinsic feature of life, without which survival would not be possible. Life is hardwired to survive. Since we are hardwired for self-interest, psychedelics force the brain to analyze and examine everything freely without judgments and therefore they are important for regaining our minds. This is why LSD, from 1943 to 1967, showed an 80% success rate in weaning people off nicotine and drinking addiction after just one session.
We are social creatures and as such we get our information about the world from others. Social validations raise the levels of dopamine and serotonin production in the brain and allow us to swim out of the darkness of emotional fixations and weaknesses to become self-aware at an ever easier rate, like a salmon swimming against the flow of the currents. So we must return the focus of our attention to individual experience and the dignity of the human being. We must not marginalize and judge others. We must not belittle anyone’s experiences. We must love one another unconditionally. The love that knows no reason, no competition, no jealousy, no sentimentality — for sentiments breed brutality, cruelty, and malice. Love without reason is the purest form of love. It is not and has never been transactional. Love is only ever transcendental.
The Psychedelic Experience Is Vital To The Monkey
No amount of meditation or mental focus will ever put you in the boundary dissolving state of mind that psychedelics will. The core of the consciousness of the monkey was made possible by psychedelics in our diet during the evolution from Homo-erectus to Homo-sapien. That’s all defined famously by Dr. Terence McKenna in his “Stoned Ape Theory” of evolution.
Psychedelics play a huge role in shaping the human brain and have for thousands of years. It’s only within the last 80 years that the world has made them illegal. Why? Because they are hallucinogens. They produce hallucinations. Nothing else. They are not addictive. They are not dangerous. They are self-regulating. They are completely safe. By ’they’ I mean specifically psilocybin mushrooms, LSD, and N-N-DMT (and their safe analogs as produced by Alexander Shulgin and Ann Shulgin).
“To believe your own thought, to believe that what is true for you in your own private heart is true for all men, -that is genius. Speak your Latent conviction, and it shall be the universal sense; for the inmost in due time becomes the outmost, and our first thought is rendered back to us by the trumpets of the Last Judgment.
Familiar as the voice of the mind is to each, the highest merit we ascribe to Moses, Plato and Milton is that they set naught at books and traditions, and spoke not what men, but what they thought. A man should learn to detect and watch that gleam of light which flashes across his mind from within, more than the lustre of the firmament of bards and sages. Yet he dismisses without notice his thought, because it is his.
In every work of genius we recognize our own rejected thoughts; they come back to us with a certain alienated majesty… Else tomorrow a stranger will say with masterly good sense precisely what we have thought and felt all the time, and we shall be forced to take with shame our own opinion from another.”
Wisdom is understanding how things really work, and that doesn’t come from anywhere else but from within. How do you gain that kind of an insight? You must have psychedelic experiences. Dissolve boundaries. Slay the ego and view the Universe with infantile eyes.
“Infancy conforms to nobody: all conform to it…”
